Wayne and Yvonne met in 2012 while working together at Harry’s Place in Colchester, CT. Wayne's mother works at Harry's Place and both of Yvonne's sisters worked there too.

On one side of the building, Yvonne made milkshakes, scooped ice cream, and poured soft drinks- advanced stuff! And on the other, Wayne worked the grill, famously wearing a headband made of paper towels to catch his sweat. Maybe it was the splattered milkshake on Yvonne's clothes or Wayne's innovative use of cleaning supplies that sparked a series of flirtations. Either way, while they worked 50+ hours a week in questionable labor conditions, Wayne and Yvonne formed a special connection. Their story is not a straight arrow, but they have continuously supported and cared for one another since their Harry's Place days.

As years passed, Wayne and Yvonne lived in separate parts of the country to pursue their personal endeavors. They stayed in touch, updating each other often about their lives. Their conversations eventually led them to try out a relationship "for real" and it was the best decision they made.

Wayne and Yvonne now live in Philadelphia with their German Shepperd mix, Masala, and their cat, Titian. They love to travel, hike with their dog, play games, and try new cuisines together. Their love has grown in many ways since 2012, and will continue to grow in the years to come.
